Update on thehotcrew, the blog of Sole Technology’s web department; welcoming me to my new gig, with some links to our recent work. It’s been kick ass so far. Run like a web dev company (but a quarter of the size) we’re really allowed to pursue what we think will work on the web tech-wise, design-wise & content-wise.
Btw – I know everyone hates baseball, but let me ask you, “The Yankees are the best team in baseball” – Is this statement a fact or an opinion?

straight fact… they won the most world series. if you like them or not is an opinion. but they proved to the world (26?) or so times that they are the best. btw i hate baseball, and could care less about the yankess, mets whoever, worst game everrrr!

if the statement was, “the yankees have won the most world series”, then it would be a fact. but it’s not, who knows what you mean by “best team in baseball”. it could mean who is on the best winning streak right now. it could mean who has won the most world series. it could mean anything. it’s an opinion.

Similarly, I can base this opinion:
“The Yankees are the worst team in baseball.”
On the following fact:

Opinion. The statement is “the yankees ARE the best team in baseball.” ARE insinuates present tense and the fact is….the Yankees are NOT the best team in baseball. Currently they flat out SUCK. It is my opinion they always suck and are a bunch of pretentious arrogant fuck bags, but that’s besides the point.

the statement that im argueing is ‘yankees are the best baseball team ever.’ personally i hate baseball and or the yankees, im just argueing cuz bill is getting wildup and it’s fuckin downright funny as hell. but the FACT is they (the yankees) won the most ‘world titles’ ever. making them the BEST team in the hisroty of baseballs. (not curently) weather you love them or hate them, i dun matter, that is an ‘opinion’. but the ‘FACT’ is they won the most titles making them the best baseball team ever.

The first portion of your statement is true. “FACT is they (the yankees) won the most ‘world titles’ ever”. Anything else is entirely opinion and YOU KNOW IT, STUPID HEAD. Now, let me get back to spell checking your comments.
