In the second season of the Minaya-Willie Randolph regime, the Mets have taken the first step toward a possible return to the World Series and maybe even a rematch with the Yankees.” – Mets.com

I didn’t know a rematch with the Yankees was part of their ten year plan. I doubt anyone other than the media would throw that nugget in there; Sure it’d be fun, but let’s wait till next year for a subway series rematch. Luckily for me, we have both the Padres and Dodgers battling for the West & Wild Card, it’s only a matter of time before NY heads out here.
