The other day my homie huphtur rounded up some people whose content was being ganked by a site covered in ads, éS Footwear being one that I work on. It’s not always a bad thing, and there will always be other sites that do the same. For some reason this one was particularly annoying. Maybe it’s the giant pop ups, or the google ads everywhere, or perhaps the fact that they’re even hot linking our images directly. The nerve!

Anyway… as I was saying, Huphtur rounded us up, and yesterday at 11:00 am PST, we all modified our .htaccess files to replace all those hot linked images with a brilliant one that he had whipped up.
