I recently had to schedule some blood work for a physical and was blown away to find an “Add To My Google Calendar” button on the confirmation page.

I could barely contain my excitement in anticipation of what data would be passed along to Google Calendar. I called Susan over to share in the user experience unfurling before me. If this was going to get ugly, I could not face it alone.

Thankfully, we were not disappointed.

Highlights Include:

  • Pre-populated end time. Now I know this should take about 15 minutes.
  • Pre-popluated address. One click away from google maps.
  • Relevant info in the description field.
