With respect to this years NYC-RNC-RSSR-OFYS (New York City’s – Republican National Convention – Random searching of subway riders – ONLY-for-your-safety) I present to you, the reader – the following, highly hyphenated – poop-on-a-stick:

I am aware of the situation and have been doing everything in my power to change it.

Let me continue by saying, my power is and has been waning. Several early morning nights, lots of uncomfortable budget bus & train travel, some heavy upstate vegetable gardening, severe back-of-the-neck-tanning, and the soaking of prescription contact lenses in an inexpensive eye care solution, have all continued to add their draining checkmarks on my daily to-do list.

And I hate people who keep to-do lists. You work every day, Monday thru Friday. If you’re one of the lucky ones, it includes a slightly relaxed sunrise-to-sunset hour schema; Is there really a need to remind yourself? Just look over the shoulder of the guy next to you, he’s got the same list. Global fucking-this is what I gotta-do-today-list. Mark as completed, where appropriate.

Which reminds me, I have a dentist appointment this Thursday, so I’ll be arriving to work a bit late, I hope you don’t mind.

Since I’ve been slowly dying a death by spam, I’ve opted to automatically mark everything incoming as spam, and send it to a folder appropriately labeled “poop”. Every couple of weeks I’ll give the thousands of useless emails a very quick once over before I relegate them all to the trash and if I missed yours, my apologies. So – if you’re using my dot com address, I recommend switching it up to the latest, dot net address and I will promptly reply to all correspondence. Thank you.

Or possibly an entry. If a couple of links are thrown up, I thought it’d be nice to treat them a bit different than an entry. This is not a novel thought. It is directly taken from a larger, much more trafficked website. You’ll notice, on some links a set of parenthesis at the end, with a number between them (at this time they’re all zeros). Those are links that will lead you to a spot where you can leave your comments directly on a link; You know – resulting in an informed discussion encompassing a range of topics.
